Will my insurance pay for nutritional consultation services with Joy Pacitto?
It is each client's responsibility to check with their insurance company to see if nutritional counseling services are covered by their personal insurance policy. You will receive a receipt for services rendered which you may submit for reimbursement. Payment for each session is expected at the time of service.

Can I make an appointment if I live far away?
Absolutely. This type of consultation is done by phone and with a scheduled appointment time that has been mutually agreed upon.
Joy has worked by phone with clients nutritionally for years. This process works very well and is very convenient. Of course those who are local may come to the office in person.

How do I pay for my consultations?
Local clients may pay by cash, check, MasterCard or Visa.
Long distance clients pay by MasterCard or Visa.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?
We do request the courtesy of 24 hour cancellation notice. You may email a cancellation message or leave it on our phone.

Will I receive written notes from my appointment?
Yes, you will receive written notes from Joy in addition to any other printed materials that she feel will be helpful to you. Most people have pad and pen handy during their sessions and take their own notes as well.

What are office hours are available for consultations?
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 7-4 PM EST [10-7 PM PST]

What can I learn from each appointment that will help me?
You will learn which foods are the most ideal and most compatible with your body's metabolic type. That is to say, which foods will reduce inflammation, increase your energy levels, stabilize weight, and strengthen your immune health.
You will also learn which nutritional supplements will be the most beneficial for your body. Each session is highly interesting and rich with information about your nutritional state of health. The goal is to empower you so that you have more control over your health.

How many visits will I need to receive what I need?
The typical pattern includes an initial 90 minute evalution and recommendation session. This is followed by 2 monthly follow-up visits. Each follow-up visit is 45 minutes.A total of 3 visits within 3 months gives the client an excellent foundation in personalized nutritional therapy to address most issues.

Can I make additional follow-up appointments?
Yes, you may consult with Joy beyond the usual 3 visit pattern. Many people receive the help they need about a particular issue of current concern then choose to move forward to address another issue.

I don't feel as though I need the full 3 visit nutritional counseling program but I would like to ask questions concerning nutritional supplements for myself. Can I make a single follow-up appointment?

Yes, you can.  A follow-up  appointment is 45 minutes and this will give you the opportunity to receive the information you need to  make the best choice for your needs. Follow the fee schedule for follow-up appointments.
